Nancy’s Jumbo Peanut Butter Cups (because medium sized peanut butter cups would be disappointing)

Happy Belated Valentine’s!

If you’re like me,  on Tuesday you might have been wondering, why is chocolate such a big deal on Valentine’s Day? Well, according to this article, men in the Victorian era would give women boxes of chocolates as a way of professing their love. In fact, giving a lady love some sweet treats was almost like proposing marriage (oh my). From there, advertisers took over and now it’s commonplace to give your friends, loved-ones, and co-workers bags of chocolate hearts on February 14th (proposals not required).

On another note….

It’s no surprise that peanut butter and chocolate is the world’s greatest combination. I mean, we’ve had this conversation before, right? So naturally, any candy product that combines both chocolate and peanut butter  in the shape of a cup and then doubles the size of said cup is bound to be tasty.

Nancy’s Peanut Butter Jumbo Cups are made with quality milk chocolate and creamy peanut butter. The middle is super thick and the whole thing has a ratio of like 2:1. To give you a better idea of what I’m talking about, here’s a picture:

Aren’t they huge??! Arguably they’re big enough to share (except you might not want to).

The thing I loved most about the Jumbo Cup was that the peanut butter centre was not too sweet not too salty and the consistency was dense like fudge. It totally satisfies your sweet tooth and is quite filling.

Just writing this post is making me long for another one…. 🙂

Enjoy the sweet stuff,

Urs

All the candy from this blog was given to me by Candy Funhouse but the opinions shared are 100% my own.
