I think it’s safe to say, that almost all Reese’s Peanut Butter Cup products are amazing. There’s just something about the creamy centre that taste so delicious as it melts in your mouth. Maybe it’s the fact that the peanut butter is sweet with a hint of salt and just enough crumble? Or maybe it’s because when peanut butter is coupled with delicious milk chocolate it makes your taste buds sing?
Either way, these Reese’s Pieces Big Cups were absolutely delicious. Like unbelievably good. Ian described them as the best thing he’s ever eaten and I’m inclined to agree. Each Big Cup is about half an inch thick…..aren’t they huge?! But the nice thing about their giant size (aside from the obvious) is that with each bite you get lots of peanut butter filling. Which is tasty because it’s mixed together with Reese’s pieces. If you’ve never had Reese’s pieces before they’re tiny hard shell candies with a peanut butter filling. They’re not until M&Ms but instead of chocolate think peanut butter. When they’re mixed into the peanut butter filling of the Big Cup, they add a nice crunchy texture. The milk chocolate coating is sweet, smooth and creamy and helps make this treat explode with flavour.
Truly, what makes these Reese’s cups so exceptional is their size and texture. The ratio of peanut butter filling and milk chocolate coating is 2:1, and the hard candies in the middle make Reese’s Pieces Big Cups fun to eat. And let’s be honest, anything with thick peanut butter mixed together with crunchy hard candies and coated in creamy milk chocolate is probably going to be a winning combination.
It goes without saying that I would highly recommend you try the Reese’s Pieces Big Cup. I’ve tasted a handful of different peanut butter cups in the past, and Reese’s products are still one of my favourite because like I said, the milk chocolate is smooth and sweet and the peanut butter filling has just enough salt to balance out all that tasty sugar.
Enjoy the sweet stuff,
